The policy of the Decision Partners, Inc. is to respect the privacy of all web site visitors to the extent permitted by law. This online privacy statement is intended to inform you of the ways in which this web site collects information, the uses to which that information will be put, and the ways in which we protect any information you choose to provide us.

Information Provided by You to Decision Partners
Decision Partners services are entirely non-commercial. There are no product offers, opt-in mailing lists, or paid referrals to external websites. Decision Partners never uses personal information for marketing or advertising purposes.

When using this web site, you may choose to provide us with information to help us serve your needs. For example, you may send us an email to request information or to retrieve a forgotten password. Any personally identifiable information you send us will be used only for the purpose indicated. Requests for information will be directed to the appropriate staff member to respond to the request. Records associated with your request may be recorded to help us maintain high levels of customer service and to better respond to similar requests in the future.

We will not sell, exchange or otherwise distribute your personally identifiable information without your consent, except to the extent required by law. We do not retain user information longer than necessary for normal operations and user accounts can be deleted in their entirety upon request. Users can update their personal information by clicking on each site's "My Account" or "Preferences" page.

While Decision Partners does allow sponsoring organizations to place their logo on certain websites, at no time are any products or services that may be offered by that organization included in Decision Partners curricula. Any content added to Decision Partners sites by an external source, such as a credit union, is clearly marked as an external resource.

Information available to program administrators for each user associated with their institution is limited to the type of information that would be available in a typical "in the classroom" course. Specific information shared is limited to:

Financial Counseling / Data Sharing Option
Some Decision Partners websites offer organizations the capability of allowing users to opt-in to sharing select personal information from the site with their program administrator(s). This feature is intended to assist organizations in providing personalized financial counseling services to site users. Sharing is always disabled by default - users must choose to participate by updating their sharing preference on their "Preferences" page.

Program administrators are prohibited from requiring users to share personal information. Sharing is always optional and is intended for use as a tool in financial counseling sessions between the user and their program administrator.

Since this option is available only if it is enabled by the sponsoring organization, not all users will see this option on their "Preferences" page.

"Do Not Track" Browser Policy
Decision Partners does not use technology designed to track a user's personal information across multiple sites, regardless of browser setting. Please see "Cookies" below for more information about how active sessions are tracked by our system.

Network Traffic Logs and Site Security
In order to ensure network security and consistent service for all users, Decision Partners employs software programs to do such things as monitor network traffic, identify unauthorized access, detect computer viruses and other software that might damage Company computers or the network, and monitor and tune the performance of Decision Partners' network. Information from these activities is used only for the purpose of maintaining the security and performance of our networks and computer systems. Personally identifiable information from these activities is not released to external parties without your consent unless required by law.

Aggregate Information
Decision Partners' web sites routinely collect and store information from online visitors to help manage those sites and improve service. This information includes the pages visited on the site, the date and time of the visit, the internet address of the referring site, the domain name and IP address from which the access occurred, the version of browser used, and the capabilities of the browser. Decision Partners makes no attempt to identify individual visitors from this information.

Decision Partners may share certain aggregate data collected from users, such as course completion rates, test results, and survey data with third parties. In such cases, all individually identifiable information is removed. Further, Decision Partners will ensure that any aggregate information is provided only after a sufficient number of users have registered for services at a particular institution. This policy protects individual identities from being inferred based on login time, course completion time, or other data.

Cookies
Cookies are pieces of information stored by your web browser on behalf of a web site and returned to the web site on request. This site uses cookies for one purpose - to carry data about your current session at the site from one web page to the next. Cookies remain on your computer for the duration of your visit only and are deleted when you log out. We do not use cookies to track your movement among different web sites and do not exchange cookies with other entities.

Commitment to Children's Privacy
Decision Partners requires that any person under the age of 13 secures written parental permission in order to use our services. This written permission must be secured by the administrator of Decision Partners' products before providing an access code to the user. Further, we do not store or report aggregate information on children under the age of 13.
