The MyMoney homepage is the cornerstone of each student's Financial Literacy 101
experience.

Personalized to the learning needs of each student, the
MyMoney homepage bridges the multimedia experience of the aid course
and the text-based resources area, giving students access to the detailed
information they need with a single click of the mouse.
The MyMoney homepage is also a destination students will
visit throughout the year that offers financial calculators to help
track budgets over time, personalized financial aid links, and goal setting worksheets.
An overview of each feature is below. To see them for yourself, please

Course Bookmarks and Notes
At the end of most sections of the course, and on most pages in the
Resources area, students are given the option of "bookmarking" a page
- creating a direct link from their MyMoney page to the information
they need. Further, students can add personal notes to any bookmarked
page that then appear in the appropriate context. In the example here, a student has created links to five content areas and left personal notes on the "Banking Introduction" and "Dealing with Debt" pages. Notes may be left from either the course or the resources area, and may be modified or deleted anytime.
This feature condenses the hundreds of pages of information available
at Financial Literacy 101 to just what the student needs - a radically different approach than most financial literacy web sites. Most financial literacy web sites simply strand students in a sea of often
irrelevant links and hope students have the time, patience and interest to find important content. Our multimedia course gives students the information the need to know as determined by our experts, and then empowers students to find content that is important for them.
Financial Tools
From determining the amount of time it would take to pay off a loan
to keeping a monthly budget, the Tools area offers a centralized place
to find the calculators they need.
In addition to the calculators, the Tools area includes a "My Goals"
page, which offers journaling opportunities for tracking financial goals
over time - from a weekly budget to a five-year financial plan.
Web Sites
Since today's students may use different computers depending on their
location (computer lab, library, home or dorm room), their MyMoney homepage is a central place to leave important finance-related web site
links.
These links are then available from any computer that's connected to
the Internet.
Course Progress
Students can view their course progress at a glance
with the course progress feature. When the course is finished, they
can review the course to brush up on
information they may need to master. Post-course surveys show that students like a graphical representation of their progress. The course progress graphic is also integrated into the multimedia course.
Preferences
Honoring the privacy and communications preferences of students is one
of our top priorities. Students may opt-out of email reminders to complete
the course and surveys we periodically send to improve
service. Under no circumstances would Decision Partners sell or share student contact information.
